SPOTLIGHT ON THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED

March 30 - April 16, 2017

Spotlight On The Day The Music Died

Starring Alex Boyles & Rigo Jimenez
Directed by Roy Von Rains, Jr.

In February 1959, American rock and roll musicians Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson, were killed in an Iowa plane crash. The event was later immortalized in a song by singer-songwriter Don McLean in his 1971 song "American Pie." Camelot presents Spotlight On The Day The Music Died, celebrating the contributions Holly, Valens and Richardson made during their brief careers to American music, including "Peggy Sue", "That'll Be The Day", "It's So Easy", "La Bamba", "Donna", "Come On Let's Go", "Chantilly Lace", "White Lightning", "Purple People Eater Meets the Witch Doctor", "Little Red Riding Hood" and more.

Tickets: $22 - $33
