CONSERVATORY

Camelot Theatre provides a 6-week Musical Conservatory summer program for young theatre artists (ages 9-17) seeking a stimulating and supportive experience. Based on the traditions of Conservatory Training, students will enjoy the camaraderie of other talented artists and musicians with the guidance of a distinguished faculty. Students receive morning instruction in acting, voice, dance and staging taught by professional artists. Afternoons and the fifth and sixth week are dedicated to rehearsals and performances for the 2017 summer production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Conservatory classes are open to children ages 9-17 regardless of sex, race, color, ancestry, marital status, physical or mental disability, religion, national origin, medical condition, medical status or sexual orientation.

Explore classic and contemporary Musical Theatre though this personal and intensive
6-week training course. Expand vocal performance skills and develop your audition book by immersing yourself in Camelot's Conservatory Program. Instructors include Professional and experienced performers, directors, choreographers, musicians and stage technicians that will prepare the students for community, high school and college theatre opportunities. The Conservatory training ends in a live presentation of the classic Broadway musical, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. All acting roles in the performance will be Conservatory students.

Camelot Theatre's Conservatory is a tuition based program. Program cost is $725. Scholarships are available to qualifying participants.

Program benefits include 4-complimentary tickets to the Conservatory performance, professional head shot photography, T-shirt and development of audition monologues. In addition, students will receive 2-complimentary tickets for all Camelot Main-Stage plays and musicals for 12-months.
