Meet the Director

Russell Lloyd

Daddy’s Dyin’ marks Mr. Lloyd’s debut as director at Camelot Theatre. He recently directed the West Coast Premiere of Moriarty at Collaborative Theatre Project as well as The Glass Menagerie, Book of Will, The Haunting of Hill House, and Eccentricities of a Nightingale. At Rogue Music Theatre, Mr. Lloyd directed The Wizard of Oz, Anything Goes, and Guys & Dolls. At Showcase San Diego, he directed Night Mother and Mrs. Dally has a Lover.

Russell’s acting credits include Henry II in Lion in Winter, Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Partridge in This is Tom Jones, Poirot in Murder on the Orient Express (Collaborative Theatre Project), Sebastian in The Tempest, Ross in Macbeth, Sir Robert Delesseps and Tilney in Shakespeare in Love, Heck Tate and Mr. Radley in To Kill a Mockingbird (Oregon Shakespeare Festival).
