Rose Passione

Rose Passione studied music at George Fox University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in vocal performance. In college she was introduced to Sondheim’s fantastic Into the Woods when she was cast as The Baker’s WifeRose moved to the Rogue Valley in 2006 and immediately joined the cast of her second Sondheim show (Liebeslieder in A Little Night Music). Some of her other favorite rolls over the last 16 years include: Rona Lisa in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Next Stage Repertory); Desiree in A Little Night Music (2020); Fanny Brice in Funny Girl, Meg Brockie in Brigadoon, ensemble in Sweeney Todd (her third Sondheim musical), Julie Andrews in Spotlight on Julie Andrews (Camelot Theatre); Maria Merelli in Lend Me A Tenor: The Musical, the title character in The Snow Queen (Collaborative Theatre Project); Vicki Nichols in The Full Monty (Oregon Cabaret Theatre). Rose sends her thanks to the Camelot for this opportunity to sing more of Sondheim’s amazing music with such wildly talented musicians, and to AJ for his ever-faithful love and support.
