Amirah David – Maria Rainer

Amirah is excited to make her debut at Camelot after a long hiatus from theater while she established a career as a mental health therapist and had a family.  She is delighted to share this with her daughter, Opal David (Gretl), who inspired their audition because this has always been their favorite musical. She was Opal’s age when she first performed on this stage when it was still the Actor’s Theater. Past credits include Ida in Die Fledermaus, Liesl in The Sound of Music, and Erma in Anything Goes. She has also been a choreographer and participated in 24-hour play festivals. Special thanks to her husband and son for holding down the fort and supporting her dream!
