Ken Kigel

Ken Kigel – Guitar, Bass, Violin, Vocals and Narration

Ken began violin studies at age five and picked up the guitar after hearing the Beatles in 1964. He worked for Ashland Public Schools for 30 years as an orchestra teacher, district music coordinator, and school administrator. Ken was a violinist in the Rogue Valley Symphony for 40 years. After retirement, he joined the East Main Band in 2016, returning to playing and performing rock n’ roll after a 35-year hiatus. Ken previously performed in five Camelot Spotlight shows with the East Main Band: Spotlights on James Taylor, The Eagles, Credence Clearwater Revival, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and the British Invasion. In addition, he accompanied Dave Bernard in Spotlight on John Denver.
